I love my ss/sv necro duo partners....first the pugs sucked and wouldn't get the Nightmares so I got pretty good at dropping them without their help(SB)=18%enchants.
Even trained a bunch just so I could get a few more ectos..Now I have a list of necro friends I can count on to aggro the nightmares and trade blood ritual for some more degen or damage....Forget SOJ don't wanna slow down the attack....Coldfires are a breeze with the smites..run them into each other get that SV on ya= no maelstroms and spell up the smites to smite hex damage the coldfires and desecrate or FOC em....I also have a friend I now cap spiders with 15k/ectos for my partner and me and ranger keeps the gold items.

Well, What can I say about this .....

I have recently started another account as the others are all stuck on the US servers.

I have had alot of experience Farming in Various places but because of the time I play and Favour I have not had much chance at Farming UW...

The first Few Necro's I played with I told them it was my first times in they said Ok, I paid entry and off we went, from that point on it all went down hill...

One would not give me energy or use SS and just kept spamming Bigger Groups you Noob !!!!

Another After first Mob Group died and I got an Ecto said Thats mine as I am Helping you all Ecto are mine !!!

And finally one when we got to Smite Did not Cast SV coz he said I did not need that to help !!!

Since then Thankfully with the help of 2 very good Necro friends I can do the whole thing.

It is such a shame people cannot be more tolarent.

With regard to 50/50 or not it does not bother me what ever is asked for will do

Aragorn i think you had the luck of finding the biggest bunch of retards ever as your first SS/SV partners.

First time poster here, full time reader.

I'm posting here because i have severe problems with the monk/ss relationship. I am not one sided at all, i have both an SS and monk with tons of experience with UW.

Atm the Monk/SS relationship TOTALLY sucks. I hate 50/50 split scams, that has to be the greediest thing ever and i don't understand what is so hard about it? people gain 3k from doing this.. its nothing..

Due to really bad runs i've heard about, there is no trust between the monk and SS. Both of the classes 50/50 split scam 80% of the time.

I have actually given up doing PUG on UW with either character, it is just not benefial enough.. ATM the only solution i have is teaching new peeps into 55 and molding them into a moral 50/50 splitter.

Is there anything you can do against 50/50 scam? I have a huge ignore list of scammers, but they keep growing. Is there many guilds with only 55 monks?

PS. I totally agree with Aragorn. Necros can be so selfish and ignorant. Alot of necros dont know how to SV the smites and where to go.

second, I would reccomend joining a farming guild.

My Guild (ToRW Trader of Rare Weapons) is a Sole Prop (JUST ME) coz my last couple have scammed me out of money and Weapons.

If I end up with a nubby Necro I usually take the time to help them out w/ the whole SS/SV idea. I've had a couple SS/SV that took Spinal Shivers instead of Sympathetic Visage or others that thought casting a random Suffering and having 13 Smites cast Smite Hex was okay.

A good majority of the time when I have an SS/SV that messes up the run (i.e. wrong skillset, aggros something on accident and kills himself) usually they're nice enough to pay for the next run. But so far all the experiences I've had with my SS/SV (I prefer not to SS/SV as I like to run the show with my 55

) have been pretty good....

Now if only i could get my brother to take Sno's SS/SV Class so he would understand it better

Could somebody please do me a big favor and post a link to a UW SS/SV guide? I found a really good one once that really went into depth, but then I lost it. I`ve searched about 20 times using different criteria but I still cannot find it.

Does could somebody please point me in the direction of a guide?

I have never once gotten stuck with a bad tempered SS.

It might have something to do with me being a 55 E/Mo, and all the intolerant SS's refuse to party with me before they realize that glyph of concentration, obsidian flesh, and aura of res work better than the normal 55 build.

I started getting a sh!tload of either smiting 55s on my Nec, or when being the 55 it was mostly a newbie to the SS/SV build, or they would bring SV. and have no Illusion :/

I rarely go to UW(0-1 times a week

) and those times are only with my best friend and we clear out the whole first part of UW (chest farming ftw :P) last run my friend got a 13% stance Crystalline out of that nice chest too

My thoughts :

Monk's job to provide themselves with 100% of their energy and be self-sufficient, kill nightmares, and to know effective aggro routes.

Necro's job to drop enemies quickly, catch nightmares that aggro after SB goes down, stay out of the damned way of aggro.

The only think i find rong with necros is when they keep asking me if i have SB.....also while im in the start of UW some necros tell me to cast SB while im fighting the aatxes, i keep telling them that i dont need to use it and they get really mad at me and either leave or have a bad temper the rest of the run, but other then that all the other necros i 2man'd UW with were pretty nice
